papier-mache love

I always forget how much I love papier-m√Ęch√©.¬† I have very fond memories of covering my¬†hands balloon mold in elementary art class.¬† I still love everything about it- they way the paper and glue smell, how squishy and pliable the paper gets.¬† And I am still amazed at how sturdy that little heap of paper becomes after drying.

I haven’t exposed Emma to the wonderful world of paper-m√Ęch√© yet. but I think it’s time.¬† Rest assured pictures will follow on Monday if I do.

Today I’m sharing a link to some fun paper-m√Ęch√© tutorials.¬† This should get you through the weekend, don’t you think?

The best spice muffin recipe in the world!

I’m taking a little¬†detour today from the usually blog posts to share this DELICIOUS spice muffin recipe.¬† Seriously, we are¬†big, BIG fans of these spice muffins at home.¬†¬†They are the easiest, and (healthiest) treats we make.¬† In honor of Valentines Day, and the 24 we made last¬†night for E’s school party, I am¬†sharing this delicious recipe with you.¬† Enjoy!!

Spice Muffins

1 box spice cake mix

1 can 100% pumpkin (Libby’s or store bought)

Step 1: Combine pumpkin and cake mix in a bowl.

Step 2: Mix together.  It will be very thick.  Resist the urge to add water!

Step 3: Spoon into muffin cups.  This recipe will make 12 muffins.

Step 4: Bake according to the directions on the back of the spice cake box.  Usually 350 degrees for 25 min.
